Please help us congratulate Alyssa Rousseau, this year's Stones Worth Stepping Creighton University scholarship recipient !!!
For the past few years the owners of Stones Worth Stepping have given out a scholarship to a Creighton OT student. As a Creighton OT alum herself, Emily and her husband Luke find it very rewarding and necessary to give back to the University.
Alyssa was born and raised in Lincoln, NE and continues to live there with her husband while she completes her third and final year of the Doctoral Occupational Therapy program at Creighton University. Prior to attending Creighton University, she completed her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. After graduating from Creighton in May of this year, Alyssa plans to work as a school-based occupational therapist with the Educational Service Unit #5 centered in Beatrice, NE. Her career aspirations include becoming a leader in pediatric occupational therapy and creating an intensive, multidisciplinary and therapeutic camp for children with special needs and their families in the Lincoln area.
This season we partnered with Saving Grace Perishable Food Rescue for our holiday food drive !
