Emily Worth, OTD, OTR/L-Owner/Occupational Therapist

Emily is a graduate of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program of Creighton University.  She completed her beginning years of practice and training in Boston, Massachusetts with a focus on pediatrics.  She has received certification in Therapeutic Listening and Interactive Metronome protocols and is a student of Craniosacral Therapy and Zero Balancing techniques.  These advanced treatment approaches have increased the quality and efficiency of her deliverance of pediatric therapy.  Her passion for learning contributes to her goal to help children achieve maximum potential for quality of life.


 

Angie Lesiak, OTD, OTR/L - Occupational Therapist

Angie is a graduate of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program of Creighton University. She completed two clinical rotations that focused on pediatric occupational therapy treatment principals and incorporating the use of dance and gymnastics techniques. Her experiences in dance and gymnastics, as well as her clinical knowledge, provide her with the ability to assess a child's needs from various view points and provide a unique approach to treatment. Angie is certified in Interactive Metronome and is a student of Craniosacral Therapy techniques.  Her passion for working with children in need along with her love of dance and gymnastics allow her to provide a unique approach to pediatric therapy.


 

 
Melissa Bradley-Potter, MA, CCC-SLP-Speech Pathologist
 
As a graduate of the Masters of Arts in Speech Pathology from the University of Northern Iowa, Melissa provides treatment in a new discipline at Stones Worth Stepping.  Her clinical skills include improving articulation, language and social skills training as well as feeding skills through use of the Food Chaining© Method to children of all ages.  She understands the importance of consultation with teachers/educators to facilitate carryover into the classroom.  Melissa's passion includes working with children and families to achieve functional communication.


 

Jessi Kucera, MA, OTR/L- Occupational Therapist 


Jessi graduated from Colorado State University with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy.  She has experience providing therapy in the school systems where she served children birth to 21 years of age. She is specialized in providing an array of services in the schools ranging from classroom accommodations to assistive technology and fine motor coordination. Jessi has also provided in-home occupational therapy services for birth to 3 year olds, maintaining a focus on family needs and reaching appropriate developmental milestones. She is certified in Interactive Metronome and is also a student of Craniosacral Therapy techniques. Jessi acknowledges the vital importance of working collaboratively with the family and the school in order to best meet the need of the child.  Jessi holds a strong belief that children can do anything they set their minds to, and she is devoted to helping our children achieve their goals.


 

Sara Kroeger, MA, CCC-SLP -  Speech Pathologist

Sara graduated from the University of Kansas with a Masters of Arts in Speech Language Pathology.  Her experience has focused heavily on alternative and augmentative communication, literacy, social communication, and language development in individuals with developmental disabilities.  Sara has experience providing in-home early intervention in the birth to 3 year old population. She is also trained in a variety of treatment settings including developmental preschools and outpatient clinics working with individuals ranging in age from 2-32.  Sara strives to find fun and engaging ways to build communication skills.



Paige Burkum, OTD, OTR/L - Occupational Therapist

Paige is a graduate of the Doctor of Occupational Therapy program of Creighton University. She has experience working with both children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has received certification in the Interactive Metronome protocol. She is the founder and director of "Siblings Only" to facilitate healthy family dynamics among siblings of special needs children. As a sibling herself, she has a passion for empowering her patients and their families by educating them in implementing therapeutic strategies to assist with daily functional living.



Kate Reinboth, MA, CCC-SLP - Speech Pathologist

Kate received her Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  She has experience working with individuals of all ages. She is specialized in working with a variety of speech and language disorders including autism, articulation, apraxia, developmental delays, fluency, and cognitive deficits. Kate believes in the power of providing fun and interactive activities to assist with child development and functional communication. 



Erin Sullivan, MA, OTR/L - Occupational Therapist
 
Erin graduated from the University of Southern California with a Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy. Her focus was on Sensory Integration and school based therapy. She has experience working in school districts in both California and Nebraska with children from birth to 22. She has also provided in home therapy to infants from birth to 3 years old. Erin has extensive experience in assessing and providing therapy using Ayres Sensory Integration, the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests and has a certification in Sensory Integration. Erin strives to help children be successful in their everyday lives.
